Our 2024-2025 youth participants have been hard at work researching their projects and getting advice from professionals in the field. The projects currently in process include:
Forestry and Range Management
- Establishing outdoor ethics classroom, removing invasive species and revitalizing former first year camper program area to be re-outfitted for future outdoor ethics programs.
Soil and Water Conservation
- Establishing oyster reef
- Mitigating trail erosion to primary conservation program campsite
Pollinator Management
- Creating pollinator gardens for monarch butterflies
Fish and wildlife Management
- Building bird houses for specific breeds to nest: Blue Birds, Robins
Resource Recovery
- Establishing fishing line recycling stations at fishing areas
